Seeing Is Possible
Optometrist & Low Vision Specialist Of Summerlin & Spring Valley, Nevada
The Vision Recovery Center is a 501©3 charitable non profit organization recovering independence for the visually impaired
Sometimes vision recovery is simple – a comprehensive examination determines a correctable diagnosis: glasses, medication, a surgical procedure. Sometimes recovery is elusive, but the caring and experienced specialist team at Vision Recovery Center will overcome all eye conditions.
Patient education, advanced technology and low vision therapy continue to yield hope, independence and opportunity – even for those impacted by the most severe visual impairments. Eye Care You Can Trust in Las Vegas
The Vision Recovery Center provides comprehensive medical examinations to financially challenged children and adults who would otherwise not have the means to care for their eyes: children struggling to see the blackboard, adults plagued with degenerative diseases … and our veterans – impacted by the perils of war.
As part of helping our patients with all their eye health and vision needs, both big and small, we also offer vision tests to complete ‘DMV’ vision forms – now available in our office.
Vision Recovery Center serves patients from Nevada’s Las Vegas area, – schedule an appointment with our Summerlin optometrist today. If you have a moment, please give us your feedback about our site and your experiences with our eye care center.
February is Low Vision Awareness Month!
Did you know that 20 million people in North America have low vision? And that many seniors think that vision loss is a normal part of getting older that they just have to live with it? That is NOT the case. Vision loss is NOT an inevitable part of getting older.
February is Low Vision Month. Dr. David YESnick and Sandy YESnick, Las Vegas’ ONLY Low Vision Eye Care Team, want to inform you that there is hope to overcome macular degeneration, eye diabetes, glaucoma or any eye condition. You CAN recover your visual independence to read, watch TV, use computers and cell phones, see loved ones’ faces, and even drive, regardless if you have had surgical or pharmaceutical treatments for your underlying eye disease that caused the loss of vision. Dr. YESnick’s Low Vision devices (and Sandy’s low vision care that accompanies the dispensing of such devices) can help you continue to do many of your activities of daily living – by yourself.
We are happy to announce that we are now affiliated with Essilor Vision Foundation’s Changing Life through Lenses™ charitable platform and community! We are thrilled to support you as you provide vision services and make a difference.
